Madhushree Ghosh receives Sveriges Ingenjörers Environmental Scholarship 2026

Madhushree Ghosh has been selected as a recipient of Sveriges Ingenjörers Environmental Scholarship 2026 for her current master’s thesis within the Anthropocene Diplomacy project.


Her thesis is one of ten projects from Uppsala University (UU) to receive the scholarship. Madhushree is completing her Master’s degree in Sustainable Development at UU, and her thesis is titled “Mapping Keystone Actors for Advancing Global Sustainability Diplomacy.”


Scholarships of SEK 50,000 per thesis are awarded to degree projects that meet two core criteria:

  1. The thesis demonstrates high scientific quality.

  2. The results show clear potential to address environmental challenges, such as contributing to the green transition and/or climate solutions, with relevance for practical application in Sweden.

As a scholarship recipient, Madhushree will participate in workshops organised by UU Innovation, with a focus on innovation and project management, during her thesis period. She will also be invited to present her project at a final seminar in May 2026, attended by Sveriges Ingenjörer and other partners.
